Martha Bierut
I have a lifelong passion for conservation. I've spent over 2 years in Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Uganda studying wildlife management, on a fellowship, and conducting field research. I have an MS in Conservation Leadership and am currently a student at Colorado State University pursuing a PhD in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources. Thanks to funding from the National Science Foundation my research concerns human-elephant conflict and elephant governance in Uganda.
